Sustainable and responsible manufacturing
Quirky Consultant is committed to sustainability and strives to reduce its environmental impact. Our garments are made using eco-friendly materials and state-of-the-art production methods to reduce our environmental impact, prioritize fair labor practices and social responsibility, and create high-quality clothing.
Sustainability by product type
Our dad hats use recycled polyester, organic cotton, and solar power in their production process.
Our t-shirts and tank tops use organic cotton, recycled polyester, and TENCEL™ Modal in its production process.
Our hoodies use eco-friendly materials and implement recycling programs to reduce waste and conserve resources.
Our sweatshirts use various programs to reduce their water and energy usage and waste generation.
Our snapback hats prioritize ethical and fair labor practices, employee safety, and community engagement.
Shipping packaging and carbon offsetting
In 2022, our shipping provider implemented significant changes to its apparel mailers in North America. It increased the post-consumer-recycled (PCR) plastic content from 30%–70% to an impressive 90%–100%. Although it may take some time to deplete existing packaging stock, our shipping provider is proud to raise the minimum PCR plastic content threshold to 70% worldwide. The use of PCR plastic is crucial as it is made from everyday recyclables like plastic bottles, thus saving raw materials and requiring less energy to produce. Through our fulfillment shipping provider, we are empowering our customers to make environmentally conscious choices by offering the option to offset CO2 emissions associated with their orders. Quirky Consultant + One Tree Planted
Although Quirky Consultant is committed to reducing its impact on the environment, we don’t think offsetting our impact is enough. We believe businesses have a duty to proactively help the world in which they operate. We proactively help the environment through our partnership with One Tree Planted. For every item sold, we plant one tree in areas affected by deforestation, natural disasters, or other environmental challenges, with the aim of creating a greener and healthier planet.
